Of course Brazil is known for it’s Carnaval and soccer, but it has many other great things, for example one of the favorite sweets among the brazilian population is “paçoca”. A little candy that is made out of peanuts, salt and sugar.
How does the classes work?
Usually the classes are 1-on-1, made specifically for a quick and efficient improvement. Learning about the subjects that are relevant to you make you able to develop the language more easily and enjoy it!
The teacher will constantly talk in portuguese to make you get used to the language. Showing you how the native speakers talk using a lot of expressions, situations that can happen on the day to day activities and how to deal with them.
Are there any benefits?
If you are looking to stay here for a long period of time, having a vehicle is really important! If you already have a driver’s license, you can drive through Brazil for something about 6 months. After this period of time, you must request a brazilian driver’s license.
Also, for you to be able to get a residence permit, you will need to prove to the Federal Police that you are currently enrolled in a school, and that you are fulfilling a study load of at least 15 hours per week.
